Accommodation Placement for Digital Scans
In standard casting, the practice has the opportunity to create MOC’s or Markings On Cast. This provides the practice with the opportunity to mark more exacting locations for patient relief. Seeing that you are sending electronic images of the patients’ feet, this is our recommended solution.
Using lipstick, a water-soluble marker, or Iodine, simply mark the appropriate foot at the desired placement location. When you begin the scanning process, a photo will be taken of the foot prior to the scan commencing. This photo will be embedded in the email that you send with your patient scans. We will then have an accurate record of the foot for reference of placement.
“We have been using DPM Orthotics as our lab since 2006. Many of our patients love the orthotics and order multiple pairs. We love the competitive pricing and great customer service.”
